Social Responsibility

This is something very close to my heart. In Yoga we speak of the word seva which means to serve. While working in corporate I got involved teaching Yoga, english, maths and art to children of Jo Slovo squatter camp.
As a team building initiative we upgraded an orphanage called Angels in the Dust.

More recently I have been teaching children on Vamizi Island in Mozambique where the image above is taken.

A wonderful woman's day  project making pompoms from African cloth found its way to decorate the Christmas presents in the White House. (Article link)

Soon I am hoping to get involved teaching children yoga in an underprivileged area in Hout Bay Cape Town.
