After using both yoga and Pilates to rehabilitate an old knee injury I was able to dance again after many years. Yoga has not only helped heal the injury but I have also discovered a far deeper meaning to life. I often combine the core strengthening aspects of Pilates and intergrate this awareness into one on one private sessions. Having experienced the sheer frustration of injury, I feel equipped with compassion and understanding to help rehabilitate certain injuries using the principals of Pilates and aspects of Yoga therapy.
